With the growing popularity and interest in autonomous vehicles, a major question begs some attention. Who is now liable for accidents that may occur? If someone calls up a UBER/LYFT/Taxi/Limo and on the way to the destination their driver gets into a fender bender, as a passenger of a service vehicle they are free of liability. When autonomous vehicles become widely available for personal purchase and accidents occur, will the passengers remain free of liability? Well before you get too excited, one thing is for sure, insurance is here to stay. Roadside assistance, glass replacement, theft, natural disaster and medical/life coverage will remain out of pocket costs for the owner of the vehicle. So we will at least see a huge discount for auto insurance right? Well let me just say now is a good time to study law and cash in on the numerous lawsuits of customers suing their auto manufacturers to cover accidents with medical and repair/replacement costs. Innovation is good, but with new ideas you must anticipate new problems. #autonomous
