YellowVision Throws REDBOX a Lifeline, will they listen?

For those of you who may not know REDBOX is the company that took the U.S. by storm during the days of DVD rentals. They handed Blockbuster (then the king of VHS/DVD) a first round knockout and took over the market. Now that the demand for that market is rapidly diminishing, Redbox have been looking for ways to revive themselves and find a new niche. They have a lot good ideas on the table to entering the video streaming and gaming markets, however have found themselves in a pinch with lack of funds to execute.

Listen up REDBOX, the video streaming market is flooded and you will need something that these current giants don't have. Focus on the gaming and add a virtual reality platform. I know you are probably saying How SWAY! With what money. You need money and the gaming and VR markets need a hungry platform like yours to expand their reach. Meet with gaming corporations and independent programmers and work out a deal to fund your platform in exchange of you showcasing their products. You would then meet with all of the Virtual reality companies and developers and use the same pitch.

Here is how your it would all look. You would look very similar to Netflix, however with Gaming and VR as your primary products with some video streaming as an option as you quickly gain popularity. You would keep your Kiosks, however instead of them just spitting out DVD's they will be used to also advertise your new products (with images and QR codes to access content.) You would use a similar pricing strategy as you did to undercut the DVD market, no credit check, low one time purchases with ads. You can add optional low subscription packages for content with no advertisements. The VR portion is growing real fast and there is no platform that is delivering. You tie your platform in with Oculus and both of you will become an overnight success. With Roblox, Vlogging videos in 3D, and various other 3D 360 degree content.

Now here is a bonus. Meet with the movie Theatre giants like AMC/Leows where you make out a deal to premiere their movies. COVID has change the public forever and if theatres want to maximize box office sells, they would show the movies on your platform where people pay movie ticket prices and can watch it with their virtuality equipment to give them that theater experience. You can sell REBOX popcorn online and at your kiosks as well for the whole nostalgia of going to the movies as well.
